Are children welcome?
Yes. Families are welcome at ELO. Some experiences may have age recommendations to ensure safety and preserve the calm of the retreat.
Getting There - Travel logistics
Guests typically arrive via fixed wing or Helicopter charter flights to our private airport and lounge 10 minutes drive from the villas. All international arrival are routed through Maun or Kasane international airports. Our team will assist in coordinating all transfers.
What to Expect - Daily activities and schedules
Guests can enjoy safari drives, boat and truck sleep outs guided nature walks, mokoro excursions, birdwatching, wellness sessions, meditation, photography, and sunset reflections by the water. However there are no set schedules every day is tailored to the guest requirements.
What to Bring - Packing essentials
From September to April light, breathable clothing in neutral tones, comfortable walking shoes, From May to August the chilly nights will need a wind jacket and long trousers.Sunscreen, a hat, insect repellent, camera and binoculars to capture the beauty of the Delta.
Health & Safety - Important guidelines
All our staff are professionally trained in first aid and fire response management. In the advent of any emergency ELO has an emergency evacuation agreement in with Okavango Air Rescue.
